I know nothing about Mr Chiang, I don’t follow comics any more but of late I’ve been looking back over my old collection and trying to bring certain aesthetics back to my work – the cheap pulp paper texture and the warmth it gives. Overlaid ink and faded keylines – that sort of vintage stuff. Looks like Cliff likes those things too.
